Student Safety

I just read an article titled, "Digital Citizenship." which gave me pause to think about our students safety using the internet. I think it is very important before we turn them lose on an assignment to remind them that there are predators on the internet. We also need to remind them, in light of recent news stories, that children can be very hurt by others comments. A few sentences directed their way about empathy might be a good thing.
